The stonework of the locks is so impressive. It seems a shame that it was never used for teh purpose it was intended.
We just wanted to stop at every lock, just to look at mother nature's creations.
I have seen the Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza in Mexico. This stone work is more accurate.
