Big open spaces, few towns

NO I did not crash again but hot headwinds took a lot out of us.

More about mountain passes later.

We were on our way to Muddy Gap Wy and we had ridden through a few short refreshing rains, the first time we had rain in three weeks. The headwinds picked up and we ducked out to camp at a rest area, behind large rocks.

Shirley came up this Continental Divide climb and said it was tough. I thought it wasn't too bad until saw the Grade sign.

  1. nice Rainbow pic, Shirley is a cycling Maniac too now! glad you will be on a bike trail soon! Impressive steep ride . We are having the Simon get together Sat. night at Tony's, after the steam engine and antique show. Corn on the cob, I remember mom making a roasting pan full and us kids ate the whole pan! Love Sis T.
